HUDSON SALVATION ARMY’S SUMMER CAMPING PROGRAM

Summer Camp teaches children new skills, healthy attitudes and great values. For many young people it is a chance of a lifetime, a door opening onto new horizons.

This year the goal of the Hudson Salvation Army’s Summer Camp Program is to send 20 area young people to summer camp. Summer camp is a "dream come true" for those who would not normally have this opportunity available.

This year there is one camp July 5 -10 (ages 6-12).

The Salvation Army’s Long Point Camp in Penn Yan, New York helps disadvantaged boys and girls open their eyes to a whole new world, the natural world. Long Point offers sports, music, Bible study, arts and crafts, swimming, hiking and other activities for school-aged youngsters in our community.

If you know a child who would like to attend camp please contact Capt. April Griffiths at the Hudson Salvation Army at 518-822-1602 for an application. The Deadline is June 24.
