Appeal Letters
You may have received a Salvation Army Appeal Letter in the mail. We of course urge you to give generously to support our ongoing work here in Columbia County.
You may have noticed there is a Syracuse address where your donation would be sent. This is because Syracuse is the location of the headquarters for our district. Funds pass through the Syracuse office and then are deposited in our account. You can rest assured that your donation to the Hudson Salvation Army will remain and be used locally here in Columbia County. We hope this removes any confusion or question you may have had.
Thank you in advance for your most generous support!

Welcome
to the Salvation Army - Hudson New York Website.
Thank
you for visiting our website. You'll find out about our programs, services,
and locations. You'll learn about the kinds of people who volunteer
in the Salvation Army, how you might donate or volunteer, or how you
can communicate with us.
We serve the residents of Columbia County.
The Salvation Army provides services to thousands of people in need,
from the homeless, to drug addicts, abused children and the developmentally
disabled.
The Salvation Army is an international movement, an evangelical part
of the universal Christian Church. Our message is based on the Bible.
Our ministry is motivated by the love of God. Our mission is to preach
the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without
discrimination. It's a duty we take up gladly
in serving God and all of His many people.
The Salvation Army has been at the forefront of positive social change
since it began its work in Hudson in 1999. It is a big job, and the
needs will only increase as our community continues to grow and change.
With your continued support and encouragement, The Salvation Army will
be able to carry out its commitment of meeting material and spiritual
needs.
